No sábado, 27 de março, entre 20h30 e 21h30 (horário de Brasília), pessoas do mundo todo irão se mobilizar e apagar suas luzes por 1 hora.

Cada ano que passa sofremos ainda mais com os efeitos do aquecimento global.
O calor está muito maior se comparado à anos atrás, e os efeitos disso tudo é preocupante.Muitas das mudanças ambientais estão diratemante ligadas ao aquecimento global
O aumento da temperatura em nosso planeta força uma mudança no ecossistema; algumas espécies acabam saindo de seus habitats naturais e correndo o risco de extinção. As geleiras estão derretendo e como consequência disso o nível do mar está aumentando.

A Hora do Planeta começou em 2007, apenas em Sidney, na Austrália. Em 2008, 371 cidades participaram. No ano passado, quando o Brasil participou pela primeira vez, o movimento superou todas as expectativas. Centenas de milhões de pessoas em mais de 4 mil cidades de 88 países apagaram as luzes. Monumentos e locais simbólicos, como a Torre Eiffel, o Coliseu e a Times Square, além do Cristo Redentor, o Congresso Nacional e outros ficaram uma hora no escuro. Além disso, artistas, atletas e apresentadores famosos ajudaram voluntariamente na campanha de mobilização.

O que custa apagar as luzes de sua casa pelo bem do planeta?
Ano passado estava sozinha em casa; apaguei as luzes, desliguei a televisão e o computador. Foi ótimo para meditar um pouco ;D

A Hora do Planeta é um movimento de todos nós. Ela une cidades, empresas e indivíduos para demonstrar às lideranças mundiais – e, principalmente, para mostrar uns aos outros – que queremos uma solução contra o aquecimento global. É uma oportunidade única para nós, brasileiros, de nos unirmos com a comunidade global em uma única voz para deter as mudanças climáticas.
